Dr. Kim Conover grew up in Bettendorf, IA. She received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Luther College in Decorah, IA. She then attended Iowa State University and received her DVM degree in 2007.
Following graduation, Dr. Conover worked in an equine practice in the Des Moines area for before joining Nebraska Equine Veterinary Clinic in 2012. She is certified in veterinary chiropractic and acupuncture and incorporates these integrative therapies into her practice. She completed training in animal chiropractic through Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic. She received her acupuncture training from the Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians program through Colorado State University Center for Comparative and Integrative Pain Medicine.
Dr. Conover is married to Casey, who teaches and coaches at Riverside High School in Oakland, Iowa. They currently live in Council Bluffs, Iowa with their son, Cody and Jake their German Shorthaired Pointer. They also raise a small herd of Berkshire swine.
